Like most of you, I always had a black skirt in my closet.

It is the absolute must-have piece, because it is so versatile and can cover multiple needs.

You can wear it from morning till night, simply by trying out various combinations.

Whether short or long, tight, pencil, midi, maxi, circle etc. It can be matched with various colours depending on the occasion or your own personal style.

Black on black is a wonderful combination. If you are short of time or you closet lacks a few signature pieces, then total black will just do the work for you.

I personally love colours a lot. They give me energy. But I cannot just oversee the mystery and fascination of a total-black outfit, if combined with the right hair and make-up. It can really take off your style.

This time, I chose to wear my circle, black skirt with a black shirt but I did not take it as far as totally black.

I accessorized with Oxford shoes in a golden tone and a leopard belt.

This winter outfit is neatly complete with my favourite vintage khakis rock jacket, which had been in my closet for as long as I can remember. I believe you would also agree that it is a time resistant piece.

Finally, the military coat I chose, is also one of those pieces that live in your closet resisting time and it used to be part of some strict military outfits.
